It is drizzling outside in the evening and your favourite game is about to start. If you are a non-vegetarian obviously you would feel to have hot and crispy chicken. Yes, the delicious fried chicken is one of the favourite dishes to all. What if that is ordered from KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken). The atmosphere would be truly amazing. However most of us not aware of the story behind their favourite fried crispy chicken. Let’s see how it was evolved and how it has conquered the world by its taste.

There was an older man Colonel Sanders from North Corbin, Kentucky, United States, who was absolutely broken, living in a tiny house and owned a very old car. He used to speed his livelihood with $99 social security checks. At the age of 65, he decided to change things surrounding him. So he thought about what he had to offer at this age. His friends pretty much raved about his chicken recipe. He decided that this would be his best shot at making a change.

He left Kentucky and travelled to different states to try to sell his recipe. He tried to convince the restaurant owners that he had a mouthwatering chicken recipe. He offered the recipe to them for free, just asking for a small percentage on the items sold.

Unfortunately, his recipe was rejected. He heard no over 1000 times. Even after all of those rejections, he didn’t give up. He believed that his chicken recipe had a different flavour and it was something special. He got rejected 1009 times in two years before he heard his first yes.

“One has to remember that every failure can be a stepping-stone to something better”

With that one success, Colonel Hartland Sanders changed the way the world eats chicken. Kentucky Fried Chicken became popular to everyone and popularly known as KFC. Currently, KFC is the fourth-largest fast food restaurant chain by number of locations in the world (20,404)

Remember, never give up and always believe in yourself in spite of rejection. Be a DOER!!

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
